Dr. Joel Aronowitz is attending the 35th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Society of Breast Disease in Dallas, Texas this month. Dr. Aronowitz is an invited lecturer at the ASBD School of Oncoplastic Surgery held in conjunction with the symposium. He will be teaching visiting surgeons the latest surgical techniques to minimize post breast cancer surgery deformity. The newly developed Breast Reduction Mastectomy will be taught as well as other nipple and skin- sparring operations.

Dr. Aronowitz and Dr. Feldmar were selected to present a paper on Breast Reduction Mastectomy as an alternative to traditional mastectomy. The Breast Reduction Mastectomy offers the advantages of a breast reduction for women with large breasts and the life saving surgical treatment of mastectomy required for treatment of many breast cancer patients.
