Salicylic Acid Resurfacing
Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid derived from the bark of willow trees. A bona fide spin trap by trapping hydroxyl radicals, salicylic acid is keratolytic, anti-bacterial and has immune enhancing effects. Salicylic acid treatments are capable of producing spectacular results on skin and mature acne. Salicylic has proven effective in reducing oil production and bringing latent blemishes to the surface so they can be properly cleared.
Lactic Acid Resurfacing
Lactic acid is a non-toxic substance derived from milk and a naturally occurring human metabolite. Excellent for mature sun-damaged and sensitive skins, lactic acid encourages protein softening and cell turn-over, is anti-microbial, evens out discoloration, deep cleans pores, softens fine lines and is effective in stimulating collagen production.
Jessners Peel
Jessners, a more aggressive peel that combines salicylic, lactic and resorcinol is applied in layers to the skin. It is indicated for patients with mild to severe acne, melasma, moderate wrinkling and actinic damage. A Jessners peel provides significant visible exfoliation and is great for all skin types. Safe to use with little down time, Jessners can be used on multiple areas of the body at the same time. Ethnic and darker skin types can use a non-resorcinol Jessners or a lightning cream in conjunction with receiving Jessners to prevent hyper-pigmentation.
Fruit Enzyme Peels
We all know that exfoliation is one of the most important procedures in facial treatments, and many have had success with glycolics. But the real progress at this millenium is addressing the free- radical component to diseases and aging with the use of anti-oxidants. As an alternative to alpha hydroxy acids (AHA's), we offer delicious crushed fruit enzyme peels packed with potent antioxidants, co-enzymes, protein-building amino acids, plant hormones, natural spin trap and moisturizing fatty acids. Fruit enzyme peels are wonderful for all skin types including delicate younger skin.

Trichlorocetic acid is one of the deeper, more aggressive chemical treatments used to correct serious skin flaws, wrinkles, freckling and liver spots on the face and body. Peeling starts at about five days after application and finishes peeling within a week.
